All About Me

All About Me

Hello,
My name is Donna Dick, and I am an educational technology specialist at NWOET (Northwest Ohio Educational Technology Foundation). I was born in Dearborn, Mich. and moved to Toledo, Ohio at the age of seven.  I graduated from Whitmer High School and received my undergraduate degree from the University of Toledo with a major in health and physical education. After graduation I worked as a program director for the Monroe, Mich. YMCA. I left this position to stay home with my children.

When my children entered elementary school I began work for Our Lady of Lourdes Parochial School in Toledo, Ohio. I worked there  for 13 years teaching physical education and the computers classes.  I earned a master of education in classroom technology in 1999 from Bowling Green State University and started working that fall at NWOET.

During my free time I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, going to church, traveling and getting together with family and friends.  I have 2 children Heather (Harrington) and Bryan.

Heather is a graphic designer and resides in Grosse Pointe, Michigan with her husband Jay. She has her own business, and if you would like more information about her company please check out this web site.
